User Groups for allocation

Learn how to configure User Groups in Taskmonk

Users will be assigned tasks based on their group membership

  1. Click on Projects at the top of the page

The Manage User page appears

  1. Click on Manage user button under Manage

You can see the following user details

  • Manage users

  • Assigned Tasks

  • User Groups

  1. Click on User Groups adjacent to Manage Users

  2. Click on Create Group to create groups for the project

  3. Enter the Group name, select the users, and click the ADD and CREATE button at the bottom-right of the page.

  4. Enable Group based allocation

  5. To Enable or Disable group-based allocation from Advanced settings.

a. Click on Advanced and click on Project Task adjacent to Project Field.

b. Choose Choose Allocation Type as Group based.

c. Select Grouping Levels. If not selected, it will be applicable for all levels.

d. Group-based allocation distributes tasks within the groups only for selected levels. In this case, L3 will continue to receive tasks from different groups.
