Create API Users

To create API users:

1. Log in to Taskmonk and click the Configuration icon in the top-right section of the Home page.

The Taskmonk Configuration page appear.

2. Click the API Users tab.
   The Taskmonk API Users page appears.

Open

3. Click the Create API User button to add a user to Taskmonk.
   The Create API User modal appears.

4. Enter an App Id in the field provided.

5. Click ADD to create an API user. Once you enter the App Id, an alert will appear with clientId and clientSecret.

Copy the credentials for API authentication. Click on OK.

Adding API Users to the project

To add an API user to a project:

Project settings-> Users->Manage Users->+ADD

1. Click the ADD button to add an API user to the project.

2. Click on the API Users tab.

3. Select App Id(Client Id).

4. Select Org Roles. (What privileges the API user should have for this project)

5. Click ADD.

The user will appear in the Added API Users list.
