Assigning Roles to Users

Learn how to assign roles to users. Roles determine the functionality and tasks to which users have access.

 

A user can have only one role at a time. However, you can use the Roles page to create custom roles containing multiple access types as required.

Assigning Roles to Users

You must assign roles to users while creating them in Taskmonk.

To assign a role to a user while creating the user, click the Roles field in the Create User modal and select the role that you want to assign to the user.

Updating User Roles

To update a user’s role in Taskmonk, you must edit the user’s details and update the Roles field as required. For detailed information on updating a user, see Updating User Details.
