Learn how to deactivate users, restricting their access to Taskmonk without removing them from the application. You can activate their accounts again as required.

Deactivating Users

To deactivate users that are no longer required:

  1. Log into Taskmonk and click the Configuration icon in the top-right section of the Home page.

    The Taskmonk Configuration page appears, with the Roles tab displayed by default.

  2. Click the Users tab to display the Users page.

  3. Click the Delete User button adjacent to the user ID that you want to deactivate.
    A confirmation message appears.

  4. Click Yes to deactivate the user.

Activating Deactivated Users

To activate deactivated users:

  1. Log into Taskmonk and click the Configuration icon in the top-right section of the Home page.

    The Taskmonk Configuration page appears, with the Role tab displayed by default.

  2. Click the Deactivated Users tab. The Deactivated Users page appears.

  3. Select the check box adjacent to the deactivated users that you want to activate and click the Activate User button on the right side of the page.
    A confirmation message appears.

  4. Click Yes in the confirmation message to activate the selected users.
