Taskmonk Nimble Workflow

Nimble works in tandem with the web app

The image above illustrates the workflow for the Data Collection Mobile App. Following are some steps to keep in mind:

  • Create a project in the web app and choose “Collection” for the Type of Project

    • Choose the Data type you want to collect data - Image, Audio, Video.

  • Configure the project like any other

  • Assign Users

only users assigned to the project will be able to collect data

These steps apply for any data type across the mobile app

  • If you are new user, create new account (provided Provided the user has been added to the organisation on the web app)

  • Sign in with Taskmonk Credentials

  • Login or Create New AccountImage Added
  • Once you are logged in, you can access two tabs

    • Projects - Where you can see the projects you have been assigned to

    • Profile - Your profile details (Non-editable)

    • Projects ListingImage Added

  • Under the projects, you will see a list of projects you can collect the data for

Note:

You need to be assigned to the project for it to be visible for you to collect data

Image Collection

Click on “Collect Data”  against the project of your choice

These steps are useful while using the mobile for Image collection

  • Click on “Collect Data”  button for the project you want to collect the images

  • Click on the “+” to Collect Image Data

    • Camera - Will activate the camera (provide the necessary permissions on the device)

    • Upload - Upload from your device (provide the necessary permissions on the device)

    Click on the “+” to activate the camera on your mobile

  • Click a picture to collect an image. Click on the Tickmark to proceedsave the image.

    • If you want to collect multiple images, continue to take more pictures. Thumbnails keep getting added. 

    • Click on “Done” Done” on the top right once the desired number of images are collected

  • View images and the corresponding metadata per image by swiping left on the image like a carousel

  • Edit image by clicking on the “Edit Edit / Pencil Icon” Iconon the top right of the image

  • Edit the metadata of a particular image by clicking on the “Edit Edit / Pencil Icon” Iconnext to the title “Metadata”Metadata

  • Click on “Save Image” once Save Image” button at the bottom of the screen when you are happy with all the images and the corresponding metadata

Audio Recording

These steps are useful while using the mobile app for recording audio

  • Click on “Collect Data”  against the project of your choiceCollect Data”  button for the project you want to record audio for

  • Collect Audio Data

    • Record - Will activate the mic (provide the necessary permissions on the device)

    • Upload - Upload an audio file from your device (provide the necessary permissions on the device)

  • Click on the “+” to activate the mic on your mobilestart recording segments of audio

  • It will show display multiple segments that need to be collected

    • Collect Audio data

      • Click on “Record” (with mic icon) to record one segment at a time

      • Click on “Upload” to upload audio file from your mobile device

    • Click on the red coloured mic icon to start recording from your mobile.

      • The mic icon turns into a pause icon to pause whenever required

  • Click on the Stop button “Square icon” on the right side of the mic icon to end your recording

  • Edit the File Name as per your requirement. If unchanged, the app auto-generates the file name

  • Edit any of the attributes that have been configured (For eg - Speaker)

  • Click on the “Floppy Disk” icon to save the segment and exit to the segments section

  • On the segments section, click on “Preview” to go back to review the recorded segment

  • On the segments section, click on the “Floppy Disk” icon to save all the segments for the recording
