Typically, the labeling UI for a text-based project is divided into three sections:
Input Fields: The text that needs to be labeled, and other supporting details. This is read-only.
Level Results: The labels added by the users at previous levels.
Result Fields: The editable fields where you would add the labels as required.
The way you enter the labeling data depends on the data type of the result field. This is summarized in the below table:
Date Type | Steps |
---|---|
Text |
A text field only accepts the characters allowed by the Format of the field. For example, a Number format text field will only accept numerals. |
Domain |
The entered string must be formatted like a URL, including the protocol. If the format is wrong, the field would be refreshed on losing focus. |
DropDown |
Only one of the options can be selected as the result. |
MultiSelect DropDown |
|
Date |
|
File Upload |
|
Radio |
Exactly one option from a radio button group can be selected at a time. |
LinkedField | The parent field must be selected before the child field is selected. |
Hybrid | |
Name-Value Pair |
